p.s. If you've never deveined shrimp before it can take SOME time to get used to. I used a pairing knife and turned on some Phantogram to get through it!
Another thing I learned was to make a sauce you turn UP the heat and wait until it sticks to the back of a metal spoon. I always thought you turned down the heat and let it simmer -definitely a learning process!
It was the perfect amount of sweet and spice! We will be enjoying this many times to come.
