I have been using Thayers Lavender Witch Hazel for two years now and I love it.
Since turning 30-something my skin has become much more sensitive and drier than it was ever before. I tried multiple moisturizers and cleansers for sensitive dry skin but nothing was working for me. A friend suggested Thayers Witch Hazel and I am so happy that she did. This stuff is amazing! My skin feels so refreshed afterwards; the aloe vera and lavender is very soothing on my sensitive dry skin.
I have to admit, when I saw the word "toner" on the bottle I was a little scared at first, because back in my teenage and acne prone years toners always dried out my skin. This however, does not dry out my skin thankfully.
Things that I like about this product:
- Certified Organic
- Propylene Glycol-Free
- Reduces Inflammation from sun burn or insect bites
- Soothes eczema
- Reduces Pores
- Compliments (seriously, since I started to use this product, I have received more compliments on my skin, yay!)
I apply with a cotton ball and use this product for cleansing and moisturizing. It's a great 2-in-1!
- note: I do not use this product to remove eye makeup. I use coconut oil to remove my eye makeup.
This 12 oz. bottle has lasted me almost a year and I am due for a new bottle. I can usually find this for under eight dollars.
I have not tried any other Thayers products nor any of the other scents of Witch Hazel. I have had my eye out on the rose one and there is a new cucumber one which I bet would be great for summertime.
I highly recommend Thayers Lavender Witch Hazel for those of you who have dry and/or sensitive skin.
Have you ever used Thayers Lavender Witch Hazel or any of their other products?
